Georgie Rose

Since starting her journey with Danceworks in 2003 as a Tiny Tot, Georgie has taken part in every class that Danceworks has to offer, it was always hard to choose her favourite. Taking part in every exam she’s been able to do from Ballet, Tap, Modern and Jazz, she has gained Distinctions and high Merits in every one, they are worth the hard work!

Having taken part in 13 dance shows across the years as either a student, on stage or a teacher back stage, it is always Georgie’s favourite time of the year!

Currently Georgie is working towards her ISTD DDE qualifications where she’s doing her Intermediate exams too for Ballet, Tap and Modern. She is loving learning the syllabus that she learnt as a child as a teacher now too.

In her spare time you’ll see Georgie on stage performing in shows at the Frome Memorial Theatre and the Merlin Theatre, where she has performed in many shows over the years. Georgie loves sharing her passion of Musical Theatre with the children she teaches in Frome and Bruton.

Having been inspired by the teachers at Danceworks from a very young age, and being an assistant to Debbie for over 10 years, Georgie is very excited to fulfil her dream of being a dance teacher at Danceworks and teaching at our second Danceworks School in Bruton.
